Dublin-based investment firm Elkstone’s 156 rooms at Bradbury Place, its first PBSA scheme in Northern Ireland, are now available for reservations.
The £20m scheme, located near Queen’s University Belfast, will open in September ahead of the 2024/25 academic year, with students being encouraged to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out. Prospective students have been invited to attend an open viewing event, running until 17 August.
“The new student residences at Bradbury Place opening for bookings marks an important milestone for Elkstone as it is our first student property in Northern Ireland.
“With demand for PBSA continuing to surge, Bradbury Place will be a major addition to Belfast’s offering and will play a leading role in helping to meet the needs of the ever-growing student population seeking high-quality spaces to live.
“Bradbury Place offers best-in-class facilities and amenities in a central location that is convenient to both Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University.“
Ciarán McIntyre, Co-Founder and Head of Real Estate, Elkstone
Amenities at the Bradbury Place scheme includes a gym, laundry, cinema, common room, open plan social space, study area, wellness facilities and retail and services on the ground floor. The development also offers an art space.
Bradbury Place is managed by student accommodation company Mezzino, an experienced operator with student schemes at 34 locations across the UK and Ireland.
“The Gallery at Bradbury Place will be a major addition to Belfast’s burgeoning arts sector, with this initiative offering a pop-up space of inclusion that will bring a unique offering of art and broader creative influence.
“At Elkstone, we are committed to delivering high-quality alternative investment projects that work for and with local communities.
“We are excited to see submissions from local groups to unlock the creative potential of the space and showcase the broad creative talent we have right here in Northern Ireland.”

Following the acquisition of the site in 2021, Mascott and Elkstone topped out at Bradbury Place in July 2023. The company has a rich pedigree in PBSA, having been involved in the planning, construction and operation of over 2,000 beds across the UK and Ireland.
