The Brotherton House purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Leeds, by the Study Inn Group, is practically completed.
Originally built in 1956 for Lord Brotherton’s chemical business and later serving as the West Yorkshire Police HQ, this historic building has now been transformed into a modern PBSA scheme.
Purchased by Pullans, the Leeds based property management, investment and development company in 2012, Study Inn started re-development in 2022 to bring the Brotherton House scheme to life.
The new development features 385 en-suite rooms and state-of-the-art amenities including wellness spa, gym, bowling lanes, cinema lounge and study areas. Study Inn celebrated a topping-out ceremony for the development in November 2023.
Sustainability is at the heart of the design, incorporating photovoltaic panels and air source heat pumps to reduce environmental impact. The Study Inn Group is also undertaking off-site highway improvement works to enhance the surrounding area.
“We are thrilled to announce the completion of the second and final phase of our Brotherton House project in Leeds.
