Nido Living continues to strengthen its presence in Spain with the opening of its third purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) residence in Madrid, Nido Plaza Castilla, scheduled to open on 4 January 2025.
According to a JLL report, Madrid is the region in Spain with the highest number of enrolled students from outside the province, exceeding 100,000, and offers the largest number of residence spaces, accounting for 21% of the total across the country.
With Nido Plaza Castilla, Nido Living adds 177 beds in Madrid, reaching a total capacity of 1,980 beds across its five residences in Spain and solidifying its presence in the European market with a total of 5,167 beds.
The strategic location of this new PBSA scheme, close to educational institutions such as IE University, ESADE Business School, and Camilo José Cela University, will meet the housing needs of students in a well-connected, high-demand area.
The building, covering 4,457 m² across six floors, is equipped with study areas, co-working spaces, a gym, leisure areas, a Do Eat restaurant, social areas and a rooftop terrace with a pool, all adapted to help students focus on their studies while enjoying a rich social experience.
Additionally, it provides 24-hour security and reception, high-speed Wi-Fi, laundry, and maintenance services to offer residents a comfortable and safe environment.
The new Nido Plaza Castilla residence has been designed with every aspect of student life in mind, offering facilities and services that promote both wellbeing and academic performance.
