
Nido Living has been awarded the coveted ‘International Operator of the Year’ accolade for the second year running at the 2024 Student Accommodation Awards. The final award, which closed the evening, was met with a standing ovation.

Judges comment
In 2024, the company launched three state-of-the-art assets, achieved an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +35 – ten points above the industry average – and recorded a 90% rebooker rate.
Nido also further enhanced its focus and launched new initiatives on wellbeing, sustainability, community and design and technology to improve the student experience.

Earlier this year, Nido was acquired by CPP Investments with a mandate to grow substantially and evolve the business into a fully integrated platform encompassing development, investment and operations – which the company is renowned for.
Following the acquisition, the business appointed new CEO Carlo Matta and launched a new European Headquarters in Amsterdam. Several other senior appointments have also been made to support Nido’s ambitious expansion plans.
