Godwin welcomes senior property experts to its board

Godwin Developments appoints two industry experts to its property board to assist with the company’s next growth phase.

National residential and commercial property developer – Godwin Developments – has appointed Stuart Munro and Richard Sanders as advisory members to its property board. 

The two highly experienced property professionals both have decades of experience. They will support Godwin’s Directors and senior management team, assisting the company through its next growth phase across the UK.

Their non-executive roles will include supporting various funding strategies, identifying emerging opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and assisting with the development and delivery of both new and existing projects.

Richard has over 30 years of experience in the investment banking sector. Most of this time was spent at Catalyst Corporate Finance – a business he co-founded.

It later merged with the Spanish investment bank Alantra, where Richard played a key role in transforming it into a leading international mid-market advisory firm.

During his time at Alantra, Richard advised on various transactions and fundraising initiatives within the property construction and development sectors.

Since stepping down, he has leveraged his extensive expertise to support the growth of several business where he has taken board positions.

Richard Sanders

Stuart brings a wealth experience in property development and contracting to Godwin. His career spans 35 years, with him spending many years leading the company Drew Smith, a prominent South of England based company.

Stuart successfully guided the company to significant achievements, including its acquisition by Galliford Try Partnership in 2017.

Stuart then held roles as Regional Managing Director and later Divisional Chair, overseeing seven business units nationwide. He earned recognition for his ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable, multimillion-pound mixed-tenure schemes.
