HG Construction appoint MD bringing corporate restructure to a close

Bringing its corporate restructure to a close, HG Construction has appointed a new Managing Director to manage all business operations.

HG Construction has appointed Greg Purkiss as its new Managing Director in the final phase of its corporate restructure. Greg previously held the position of Commercial Director at the company, which he joined in 2000 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

In his new role, Greg will work alongside CEO Adam Quinn to oversee and manage all business operations across the UK.

The business has undergone a period of significant growth in the last five years, expanding its presence in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), residential, hotel, retirement and commercial markets. In addition to a strong portfolio of work in London and the Southeast, the company has expanded its national reach to include Leeds, Manchester and Bristol.

Greg’s appointment follows significant structural changes across the business over the past year, with the establishment of a new Operational Board and appointment of dedicated Construction Directors with regional responsibility.

Chris Martin has been promoted to the role of Commercial Director, assuming responsibility for leading HG’s commercial operations. Martin has been with the company for nine years and is a highly valued team member with extensive surveying and commercial experience, and a commitment to excellence.
