Arlington Advisors has appointed Stuart Osborn, a former partner of Knight Frank and expert in the European student housing market, to spearhead its expansion into the region.
Stuart, who was Head of European Living Sectors Transactions for Knight Frank, has been appointed Arlington Advisors’ Investment Director – Europe. He has worked in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sector for over 16 years, initially at JLL, where he was Head of EMEA Student Housing, before joining Knight Frank in 2019.
“We are delighted to welcome Stuart to Arlington Advisors as we expand into Europe. His extensive experience in the European student accommodation sector, particularly in Spain, makes him the ideal person to lead our investment strategy in the region.
“With growing demand for high-quality student housing across Europe, this marks an exciting new chapter for our business”.
Sean McKeown, Managing Director, Arlington Advisors
Stuart has deep experience of the European sector, in particular the Spanish market where Arlington Advisors will initially concentrate.
The company’s move into Europe aligns with its ambitious growth strategy, which includes both strategic acquisitions and operational enhancements. This follows its recent appointment by King’s College London to oversee the refurbishment of the 714-bedroom Champion Hill estate in South London.
“I’m thrilled to join a business with such exciting European ambitions. Arlington has an impressive track record and deep expertise in the sector, making this the perfect time to build on its success.
“With market conditions aligning for growth, I can’t wait to get started and contribute to the next phase of expansion”.
