Privately held real estate investment firm ELIM Investment Management (IM) has opened its first Asia-based office in Hong Kong.

This marks a significant milestone for the firm as it expands its presence into a key global financial hub, aiming to connect business partners and investors across North and Southeast Asia.

With over a decade of expertise in North America’s rental housing market, ELIM has a well-established track record in student accommodation and other living sectors.

“Hong Kong consistently ranks among the world’s top global financial centres.

“As Asia’s largest international asset management hub, it offers a diverse talent pool and unparalleled opportunities.

“We are confident that this strategic move will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional investment journeys and opportunities for our partners and clients.”

The firm is now bringing this expertise to Asia, with a focus on delivering value through strategic real estate investments and innovative approaches.

Hong Kong’s status as a leading financial hub has made it the ideal location for ELIM’s first base in Asia. As the world’s second-largest cross-border wealth management centre, the city offers seamless access to key regional markets, reinforcing its strategic importance in the company’s growth plans.

“We are rapidly expanding our network of business partners and collaborating closely with wealth management firms and multifamily offices across Asia.

“These partners recognise the value of portfolio diversification through allocations to private assets, such as institutional-grade real estate, which preserve and grow wealth.

“Hong Kong’s robust infrastructure provides the ideal platform to support our mission.”

ELIM has expanded its operations in the student accommodation and other living sectors, supported by strong relationships with local builders and brokers in North America.

Now, with its expansion into Asia, the company is focusing on forging long-term partnerships and generating returns for investors.
