Fusion Group has appointed HG Construction as the main contractor on the Bristol Road-based purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Birmingham.
The development will deliver 622 bedrooms across four blocks, ranging from eight to 17 storeys. Designed with student wellbeing in mind, the scheme includes a basketball court, a two-storey gym, dedicated yoga studio and wellness area, as well as landscaped external amenity areas. Located in a well-connected part of the city, the scheme offers strong accessibility to Birmingham’s major universities.
This is the first Birmingham-based scheme for HG Construction, which has expanded its national footprint to new locations including Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the last four years. The business has a solid track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality PBSA schemes across the UK, and operates in the residential, hotels, retirement living and commercial sectors.
