
A joint venture between Gylemuir Capital and Housing Growth Partnership (HGP) has reached practical completion of their Brown Street purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) property in Dundee.
The scheme includes 163 bedrooms alongside amenities including a sky deck, sky lounge, study space, laundry and gym. With an an Energy Performance Certificate rating A, the development also has a sedum roof to improve energy efficiency, air source heat pumps and solar panels to convert sunlight into electricity.

The property is located at 63 Brown Street in the Blackness Conservation Area of Dundee, close to both the University of Dundee and Abertay University. It has seventeen six-bed clusters and sixty-one studios.
The necessary Houses in Multiple Occupation licence had been granted by Dundee City Council last month. Gylemuir Capital and HGP’s property is managed by Homes for Students under the Prestige Student Living brand, and will welcome residents this month.
