GRAHAM were recently delighted to welcome two celebrity guests from Dulux to their student residence project at Nelson Street. This Belfast PBSA scheme is a fascinating project for the construction behemoth.
Everyone has been hard at work to finish the project, so this was a welcome moment of relaxed fun before the final dash to hand over this impressive student accommodation in time for the 2024 Autumn student intake.
Apple and America are brother and sister and are part of the famous Dulux Dog lineage that dates back to the 1960’s.
Dulux call on their services regularly to promote their brand and GRAHAM were delighted to have the good fortune of them visiting not only Nelson Street, but also The Europa Hotel, where the team recently completed a refurbishment of the Penthouse and Business Suite.
On behalf of Greystar and Lacuna Developments, the £48m project will deliver 774 bedrooms and recreational facilities set across 245,000 sq ft.
As one of the largest PBSA complexes in Belfast, the Nelson Street development will also feature a shared sports and games hall, as well as a wellness room, physiotherapy suite, social areas, a café and a gym.
GRAHAM have managed to navigate through the choppy economic waters. The construction giant surpassed the £1bn turnover milestone for the second consecutive year as revenue increased by 2.8% to £1.1bn.
“The latest published accounts for the Group are pleasing and underline the strong performance of each our divisions within our core market sectors. We prioritise robust governance and commercial management which are the backbone of our sustainable growth model. Significantly, the continued success of the Group has been achieved despite global economic uncertainty and inflationary pressures.

GRAHAM has also begun construction on the new £59m low-carbon mixed-use development in Edinburgh, which combines PBSA, Build to Rent (BTR) and affordable homes. The development is the first of its kind in the company’s 70,000-bed portfolio.
