Yugo has announced the appointment of Robin Moorcroft as its Senior Vice President, Commercial. Robin will be leading client and commercial activities to deliver growth and embed long-term performance across the business.
His role also encompasses the recently acquired CRM Students, where his established industry relationships and in-depth understanding of capital flows in student housing will support the businesses’ overarching strategy to scale globally.
Robin’s knowledge and operational expertise is further complemented by his previous leadership position at Global Student Accommodation (GSA), where he spent nine years, most recently as Transactions Director.
This bilateral move highlights the capability and depth of leadership across The Dot Group and its businesses.

Robin’s international experience, particularly across Europe, the US and APAC region, will be valuable when sourcing new business opportunities, accessing new markets and developing commercial strategies. Robin has been key in the international expansion of GSA, particularly in the US and Australia, and will continue to influence operational strategies as GSA’s operational partner at Yugo.
Robin holds a degree from the University of St Andrews and is a Chartered Management Accountant. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and sits on the National Multifamily Housing Council in the US.

In April, Yugo achieved Silver Accreditation for its ESG efforts. Through the Carbon Literacy Project, Yugo has gained insights on minimising emissions and motivating its community to follow suit, helping to raise awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions on an individual, community and organisational basis.
15% of Yugo’s workforce is now Carbon Literate accredited, demonstrating the company’s dedication to fostering a culture of environmental awareness and action within its teams. The Carbon Literacy Project provides relevant climate change learning, that catalyses action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
