Watkin Jones has announced an expansion of its senior team with the recent internal appointments of Gwyn Pritchard, Managing Director of construction and Michael Bunyan, Group Development Project & Cost Director.

Gwyn Pritchard joined Watkin Jones over 25 years ago as an Engineering Trainee in 1997, progressing as a Graduate through to Regional Director in the Homes division and Managing Director.
Gwyn’s contributions have been significant across the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent, and Homes divisions of the Group.

Michael joined Watkin Jones in 2022 with 20 years of experience to head up development, project and cost management. He previously joined from iQ Student Accommodation and prior to that held positions at K2 Consultancy and Capita.

This news follows the company’s recent announcement of the appointment of Adam McGhin as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary.
Joining from Grainger plc where he held the role of Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Adam’s hire strengthens the Group’s executive team.
Since 1999, Watkin Jones has delivered over 49,000 student beds across 147 sites, making it a key player and leader in the UK PBSA market. In addition, Fresh, the Group’s specialist accommodation management business, manages over 19,000 student beds and Build to Rent apartments.
