HiiLIFE has recently completed a £50,000 installation at Arcadian, Urbium Capital’s purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in Nottingham.
HiiLIFE’s project was signed off, delivered and completed within one month. Their contribution to the development included technology systems for amenity spaces, shared kitchens and studios. The installation took a total of six days of work.
Located opposite the Victora Centre in the lively core of Nottingham’s city centre, Arcadian – which opened in September 2024 – offers 293 high-quality living spaces in a mix of studios and ensuite rooms.
The development features amenities such as high-speed internet connectivity, dedicated study areas, a fitness centre and communal spaces, all designed to promote a supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and socially.

HiiLIFE supplied and fitted a range of bespoke technology solutions at the Arcadian PBSA scheme. These included 13 wireless audio solutions, nine screens in the amenity spaces, 28 screens in the shared kitchens, six mirroring solutions in various areas, and a touch screen karaoke system.
Arcadian has achieved a WiredScore Platimum rating, highlighting its superior digital connectivity for residents. The technology installed is setting a new standard in student accommodation across the UK, enhancing students’ living experiences through air conditioning in each room, personalised and easily accessible audio solutions, shared screens, and the mirroring solutions.
