Stephen Willis, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Unipol

Having previously served as a Group Board Director at one of the UK’s largest student accommodation providers as well as fulfilling roles at the University of Nottingham and Goldsmiths, University of London, Sam’s appointment supports Unipol’s commitment to the HE and student housing sector.

“Unipol’s standing in the UK student housing sector is well established, and during this challenging period for many, its role as advisor to many including government, coordinator of various standards, training provider, and owner and operator of housing in both the private rented and PBSA sector, is more pivotal than ever before.

“We are a charity. That means that we continue to support students, code members and others through our endeavours without returning a surplus for the benefit of shareholders.

“Our values shape our approach, and I am grateful and privileged to lead a team focused on improving standards for students throughout the UK. Engagement and collaboration as ever are key to our contribution to the wider audience.”
