Olympian has recently awarded RG Group the contract to build St James House – a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in Bristol. Cain International and Olympian Homes acquired the St James House site in October 2024 and secured planning consent to deliver the revised scheme in March this year.

With demolition work currently underway, RG Group will move into the construction phase shortly to deliver a 28-storey PBSA development with 442 units and a co-living development. Both buildings will include communal roof terraces, lounges, gyms, cinema rooms and co-working space.

Located in the heart of Bristol, St James House offers convenient access to both the University of Bristol’s main campus and the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, as well as direct transport links to the University of the West of England and national rail services at Bristol Temple Meads station.

The redevelopment sits at the entrance of Bristol City Centre is a major change to the potential future city skyline, as it would make the building the tallest tower in Bristol.

Olympian is developing St James House in partnership with Cain International and Apollo. Other delivery partners include Savills and architect Hodder + Partners.
