Torsion Group has provided an update on construction at the Between Towns Road purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in Oxford, which broke ground in April this year and is scheduled to complete in 2026.

Since mobilisation, foundations have been completed and the structural frame is now halfway to full height. The site team has worked collaboratively to optimise logistics and material deliveries, ensuring efficient use of space and streamlined storage.

In the coming weeks, Torsion will install floor slabs across all levels and advance below-ground services.

“Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Matt Anderson, for his outstanding work ethic and commitment at Between Towns Road. Matt’s proactive approach and teamwork have been instrumental in keeping the project on track.”

The five-storey Between Towns Road PBSA scheme will deliver 189 student bedrooms in a mix of studios and cluster units, designed to meet growing demand in one of the UK’s most prestigious university cities.

Residents will benefit from a landscaped rear courtyard, rooftop terrace, and generous shared amenity space designed to encourage studying, socialising and wellbeing.

The development provides students with good access to local amenities and offers direct links to both Oxford Brookes University and the University of Oxford, given its location in Oxford’s main student area.
