Tri7 Group has formally integrated into Fusion Group. Having been part-owned by Fusion since its creation, the move brings in Tri7’s complementary value-add real estate investment and asset management capabilities, together with its £750m pipeline of capital mandates.

Tri7’s Founding Partner, Samuel Castle, and Senior Partner, Dan Green, will work alongside Fusion’s Group Chief Investment Officer, Daniel Harris, to raise and manage further third-party capital to support the growth of Fusion’s evolving integrated investment, development and management platform and to meet the needs of third-party investors looking to deploy capital in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and broader living sector.

“Being fully integrated Fusion Group allows us to scale our strategy and institutionalise our platform, while maintaining the entrepreneurial mindset that characterise our teams.

“Joining our long-term partners at Fusion, we can bring together the best of both businesses – the operating depth of Fusion and the investment drive of Tri7 – to create a market-leading living sector platform.”

As part of the integration, Tri7’s office investment platform, TriOffice, will continue to operate under its own brand and remain majority-owned by Fusion, led by Ben Beck.

The integration also coincides with Fusion securing a £500m whole loan facility from Maslow Capital, which will fund the development of five prime PBSA assets across the UK.

“I have been proud to serve as chair of Tri7 since its inception and delighted that they are now part of the Fusion Group. In joining forces, this offering led by Daniel, Samuel and Dan gives us the opportunity to accelerate the growth of our business with a specialist focus on raising, managing and investing 3rd party capital, supporting our development and management business and the wider living sector.”
